2024 Makeover Brings The A3 In-Line

Audi has released details of its new A3 and S3 models in 2024, bringing them in-line with recent changes made to the other big hitters in their range, and you can be among the first to get your hands on the new releases, with Pink Car Leasing taking orders now on Audi A3 car leasing deals for an incoming batch.

What models are available?

There are both hatch saloon and Sportback versions of the new A3, with three trim levels also; Sport, S-Line and the Black Edition. The S-Line has a more aggressive exterior, while the Black Edition subtly does what it says on the tin.

Audi has released two powertrains to choose from, a 35 TFSI 1.5 litre mid-hybrid petrol and a 35 TDI 2.0 litre diesel. Both versions achieve 148 bhp and 0-62mph in 8.4 seconds and have a seven-speed automatic gearbox. There will be a plug-in hybrid and a manual gearbox version of the petrol model released before the end of 2024 too.

What comes as standard?

Perhaps the biggest difference with the new A3, apart from the delicate and refined interior/exterior changes, is that the ‘standard’ features have made the A3 more comfortable. As with the previous model, all versions of the new A3 come with LED headlights, electric sports seats, cruise control, a central 10.1 inch touchscreen, 17 inch alloy wheels and a lane departure warning system.

New standard features on all versions, however, also now include Audi’s digital cockpit, front and rear parking sensors, heated seats and a three-zone climate control system. Where the new Black Edition stands out is with its 19 inch alloy wheels, black exterior styling pack and door mounted LED’s which stylishly project the Audi logo onto the ground when exiting the vehicle.

The addition of these new styling upgrades really elevate the look and feel of the A3, making this classic hatchback a far more premium option than its price tag suggests.

What’s new about the 2024 A3?

In addition to the new ‘standard’ features, this latest A3 has a number of subtle changes to both the interior and exterior. Inside, there is a redesigned central console with an armrest, plus new air vents and lighting systems. Audi’s digital cockpit now offers a Sonos soundsystem and has navigation and a wireless smartphone charger as standard. The driver can also individualise their car using the four light signatures.

On the outside Audi have followed the changes made on other models to make the A3 more dynamic. A wider front grille features a more protruding Audi logo that has had the Chrome removed for a more sophisticated look. New side air intakes and a reshaped spoiler give the A3 more road presence and at the back, a new bumper and diffuser unit also add to a more distinctive appeal. The driver can opt for two new metallic colour shades also; District Green and Progressive Red.
